Some thoughts

• ​Washing clothing every other day is common, although stretching it out to 3-4 days is possible
  • I fill the Matador XL dry bag with the laundry sheet then warm water, soak the clothes then hand wash for a few minutes, rinse clean and hang out the YYST clothesline
• Layer a shirt, uniqlo down jacket, uniqlo parka together as needed for colder weather (about 0-30F for me)
• Travel adapter not included in this Japan/Taiwan trip because it wasn't needed

MVPs

• Matador DL16 bag - packs really small, light, great for a day trip
  
• Sony alpha a6000 - tiny camera with great pictures
  
• Bluffworks Meridian - dries super-quick, very comfortable, and I've never had to iron it
  
• Anker PD wall charger - chargers USB-C super fast and is super compact
  
• FlatPak soap case with Dr. Bonner's soap - dries quickly and useful to carry for a long trip
  

​Jury's still out

• Xero minimalist sandals - super small, but walking all day on them hurts. I hear you get used to them. We'll see
• Bose sleep buds - did help me sleep a bit during loud nights. Still not used to them and not perfect, however
• Quip toothbrush - not as compact as possible, also does the vibration do anything? Keeping it for now - any possible help for keeping healthy teeth is important

Future changes

• Anker just came out with power packs with USB-C and PD charging. Going to add these 
  
• Gradually moving to all-USB-C with mini-adapters as needed
  
• Spectre is a powerhouse of a laptop for the price, but heavy for trying to maximize carry-ons. Looking to switch to the Microsoft Surface Go
